Registration Fee Refund Policy

All Members

A full refund is available until a rule book has been issued or an NFHS insurance policy purchased.  Once a book or insurance has been issued, the cost will be deducted from the refund amount. Current costs of each are listed below and are subject to change.

  • Insurance premium: $25
  • Rule Book: $10

Once a member has been given one or more assignments by the section assignor, no refunds will be given. 

New Members

Full refunds are available until all registration requirements have been met and the applicant has been accepted into the association.  If an applicant is not accepted into the association, a full refund will be automatically issued to the applicant.  If an applicant withdraws their application, a full refund–less the cost of a rule book if distributed to the applicant–will be issued upon written notification.  After acceptance into the association, a partial refund (less insurance premium and cost of rule book) can be issued until the member receives one or more assignments. 

Leave of Absence

Returning members may request a leave of absence from the president after starting the registration process and paying dues.  Once approved by the president, the amount paid, less the cost of insurance and/or rule books will be held by the association to be applied to the following year’s registration fees.  A leave of absence may be requested up until a member works one or more assignments.  A leave of absence may be converted back to active membership at any time during the same season by request and by subsequent completion of all registration requirements.  Once a leave of absence has been requested and approved, no refunds will be allowed without approval of the Executive Board
